I'm not using this journal anymore, nor am I active in any fandoms, so feel free to de-friend it.  Life has been very rewarding lately and increasingly busy.  My priorities have changed drastically, so I've decided it's time to move on.  

To be honest, I've had enough of the Avatar fandom as a whole, and I feel the negativity has made it more trouble than it's worth.  Enough that I feel the need to distance myself from it completely.  

Between the ship-bashing from all sides that got terribly out of control, Bryke's shameless trolling, the epic fail of the live action movie, and the plot holes/deus ex machinas/bad writing that prevented an otherwise amazing series from breaking the mold and becoming a masterpiece....I'm just finding it hard to be inspired by the show anymore. 
 

And hey - if Mike and Bryan don't value Zutara fans and never did, then why should I care?  There are better writers with better stories to enjoy who deserve my appreciation more. 

But thanks to everyone who made my time in the fandom an enjoyable one.  As a parting gift, I'm leaving behind my huuuuge collection of original Zutara manips and graphics in one place for posterity's sake.  <3
